Social justice is “neither communism, nor despotism, nor atomism, nor anarchy,” but the humanization of laws and the equalization of social and economic forces by the State so that justice in its rational and objectively secular conception may at least be approximated. – This is the common definition based on Calalng vs. Williams which is required of law students.

Basic definition

It is the fair and equitable distribution of employment benefits, opportunities, and protections. It seeks to rectify social and economic imbalances by putting mechanisms in place that provide advantages for marginalized or less privileged workers. This may manifest in policies aimed at fair wages, employee benefits, safe working conditions, and more.
